PURPOSE: A centralized SDI broadcasting system and method thereof are provided to reduce maintenance costs by improving the convenience of a system facility and by accepting the bandwidth of all signals. CONSTITUTION: An input interface module(210) changes AV(Audio and Video) signals inputted by signal input terminals into SDI(Serial Digital Interface) signals including an SDI standard format. A matrix router module(220) establishes an input and output route for the SDI signal. An output interface module(230) transmits the SDI signal to an external apparatus corresponding to the input and output route.
