PURPOSE: A staple standard indicating device of a stapler is provided to control binding because an operator can check standard of staples inserting into the stapler through a transparent window, thereby wrong bind is prevented. CONSTITUTION: A staple standard indicating device of a stapler comprises a staple standard indicating unit, a transparent window, a slit, and a sliding rod. A square hole is penetrated in the upper part of a push portion of the stapler and the staple standard indicating unit is inserted into the square hole. An operator can check the stapler standard indicating unit through a transparent window. The slit is formed in both side ends of the push portion. The staple standard indicating unit indicates many kinds of the staple standards and the amount of papers and moves along the slit by the sliding rod.
