FIELD: ammunition; high-explosive tank shells. ^ SUBSTANCE: shell comprises a cartridge case with a thin-wall ogive head, explosive, base time and percussion fuse and a warhead with prepared subprojectiles. The warhead is attached to the ogive head of the cartridge case. The warhead is made with a space framework inside, in the form of tie rod made from a light alloy based on aluminium or titanium. The tie rod has conic flanges inclined towards the ogive head of the shell. ^ EFFECT: high explosive tank shell axial fragment field efficiency improvement. ^ 1 dwg |
