COMPACT FINGER SEALING

FIELD: machine building. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention belongs to the sphere of engine-building and can be used in the designs of gas-turbine engines for sealing of annular slits between the stator and rotor. Finger sealing includes at least two adjoining annular parts which have annular body of fingers. The fingers are made by means of slots in each annular part. The slots are made in a way that fingers have free ends to cover the surface of sealing drum. Annular parts are arranged with angular deflection in a way that fingers of each annular part overlap the slots of adjoining annular part. Each annular part has an integral rim. External diameter of each rim exceeds the circle diameter going through the beginning of slots for no more than 10 mm. ^ EFFECT: decrease of radial external dimensions and improvement of finger sealing properties. ^ 3 cl, 4 dwg
