Disclosed is a method for improving drought resistance of winter wheat by means of presowing treatment of seeds with a plant growth stimulant. 30 ml of an aqueous solution of indolylacetic acid in amount of 17.5 mg/kg seeds, polyethylene glycols of a molecular weight of 1500 D - 160 mg/kg seeds and 400 D - 70 mg/kg seeds are used as a growth stimulant.
