An arm of a gantry crane comprises a frame, front and back suspensions, a bearing unit, which comprises two inclined to each other support beams, an arm top formed by upper parts of front and back suspensions, the upper part of bearing unit, a pair of parallel jaws. The front and back suspensions with tee section are connected to the main beam and the upper part of bearing unit with "closed" hinge assemblies, and two inclined to each other support beams to the main beam – by "open" hinge assemblies. |
