DOWNLOAD APPARATUS AND DOWNLOAD METHOD FOR SAVING ENERGY

PURPOSE: A download device for saving energy and a method thereof are provided to determine good timing for transmission and download data. CONSTITUTION: A reservation setting unit(210) reserves to download data. A channel detecting unit(220) detects signal strength for showing traffic of a download channel from a data providing server. A speed calculating unit(230) calculates the transmission speed of the download channel according to the signal strength. If the transmission speed is faster than a fixed speed, a download unit(240) downloads data which is reserved for download. The channel sensor uses the mode sensing the signal strength of the download channel to the constant time interval.
