TECHNIQUE FOR CORONARY BYPASS OF LEFT CORONARY ARTERY AFFECTED DIFFUSELY THROUGHOUT ITS LENGTH IN PATIENTS WITH ISCHEMIC HEART DISEASE AND CONCOMITANT DIABETES MELLITUS TYPE 2

A technique for the coronary bypass of the left coronary artery affected diffusely throughout its length in the patients with ischemic heart disease and concomitant diabetes mellitus type 2 comprises the separation of the blood vessels and preparation of the vascular grafts. The left internal thoracic artery and great saphenous vein are separated and the arteries of the second order are bypassed. The first, second and third diagonal arteries are bypassed with the left internal thoracic artery while the first, second, third and fourth marginal arteries are bypassed with grafts of great saphenous vein.
