A pivot joint has two parts that are in contact – a pin and a bearing, one of those has outer cylindrical or spherical surface, and the other one – inner surface, respectively, at that one part is movable with respect to another part. One of the parts that are in contact is arranged as a shell with a cavity filled with liquid under pressure. The pin can have a cavity and opening for connection to hydraulic system for formation, keeping and control of pressure in the cavity of the shell. The bearing can have a cavity with inner shell in it and opening for connection to the hydraulic system. The shell can be made shaped with possibility of re-distribution of specific pressure in plane of surfaces that are in contact. |
