FIELD: electronic engineering; processing analogue signals. ^ SUBSTANCE: analogue-digital (AD) converter comprises an input parallel M-digit AD-converter 1 and an M-digit digital-analogue (DA) converter, which use common resistance divider connected in series to the reference voltage source (VREF), a boxcar detector for the difference signal between the AD converter input and the DA converter output voltage, and a pipelined (N-M+1)-digit AD converter 2. The AD converter also includes a DA converter 1k which is connected to the same lead-outs of the divisor as the DA converter. In the calibrating mode the additional DA converter 1k forms along with the DA converter different input voltages for the boxcar detector which correspond to the segment voltages. ^ EFFECT: reduction of the N-digit combined AD converter error by removing the influence of the desynchronized element parameters on the voltage calibration accuracy of the reference source and by introducing a separate calibration of the segments. ^ 7 cl, 7 dwg |
