Dimming ballast stabilizer for UV LAMP and dimming stabilizing method using the same

PURPOSE: A dimming ballast for an UV(Ultraviolet) lamp is provided to detect operation by receiving the operation state of an UV lamp with lamp monitoring in an output part. CONSTITUTION: A PFC(Power Factor Correction) controller(30) controls the drive of a UV lamp of over 2 meters in an output unit by using power inputted into a power input part through PFC. A ballast controller performs the dimming control of an UV lamp included in an output part according to the dimming control for the output part. A lamp status detection part(80) performs an output stage with the UV lamp of the output unit. The lamp status detection part detects the state of the UV lamp while applying power to the UV lamp. A dimming controller(40) outputs a control signal to the ballast controller.
