PURPOSE: A defrosting device for a refrigerator is provided to prevent condensation around a cold air passage by installing a hot line having a condensation preventing part which covers around the cold air passage of a cold air duct. CONSTITUTION: A defrosting device for a refrigerator comprises a cold air duct in a main body, a cold air duct in a door, and a hot line. The cold air duct in the main body is located in a refrigerator main body to guide cold air generating in an evaporator. The cold air duct of the door is located in a refrigerator door and selectively communicated to the cold air duct in the main body in order to receive the cold air guiding through the cold air duct in the main body. The hot line is installed in a surface where the cold air duct in the main body and the cold air duct in the door are contacted. The hot line has a condensation preventing part(41) which covers around an opening of the cold air duct in the main body to prevent condensation on the opening.
