PURPOSE: A cargo hold structure for a very large crude carrier is provided to improve the control function of a sloshing load by connecting a reinforcing member to the tops of lower horizontal webs. CONSTITUTION: A cargo hold structure for a very large crude carrier comprises longitudinal partition walls(16), vertical webs(22), lower horizontal webs(24), a reinforcing member(26), and multiple horizontal girders(28). The longitudinal partition walls divide the inner space of a cargo hold into left, right, and center holds. The vertical webs are vertically arranged on the longitudinal partition walls to be separated along the width direction of a hull. The lower horizontal webs integrally connect the bottoms of the vertical webs. Protruded ends(24a) are integrally formed on the top center of the lower horizontal webs. The reinforcing member is arranged along the longitudinal direction of the hull and integrally connects the protruded ends to each other. The horizontal girders are horizontally arranged along the longitudinal direction of the hull and connect the vertical webs. |
