The pot/vat has an upper compartment (1) comprising farmland (2), and a lower compartment (3) comprising water storage (4). A capillary wick (5) allows controlled transfer of water from the water storage toward the farmland. A conduit (6) supplies water to the water storage that is realized using an elastic pocket (7) that is expanded under effect of weight of the water, where pressure required to maintain a water level (H1) is higher than stable height during all automatic supply periods of the farmland.
