METHOD FOR PREPARATION OF CLOSED-BOTTOM MOLD FOR TOP CASTING

摘要

A method of preparation of a closed-bottom mold for top casting in which a metal stopper is installed in a bottom hole of mold and a top. Prior to putting the mold into operation into its bottom hole a metal stopper - foundation is mounted, which occupies 5-15 % of volume of the mold bottom-hole. The remaining volume from the side of internal cavity of the mold is filled with liquid fire-resistant concrete that is held up to solidification and dried.
