发明名称 PROCESS FOR THE PREPARATION OF CERAMIC MATERIAL BASED ON ALUMINIUM DIBORIDE UNDER HIGH PRESSURE
摘要 The invention relates to powder metallurgy. A process for the preparation of ceramic material based on aluminium diboride (AlB) provides for forming of boride mass, consisting of amorphous boron and aluminium chip, heating of the mass to the temperature sufficient for melting of aluminium and holding at this temperature. The preparation of ceramic material is carried out at pressure not less than 4.0 hPa. Additionally a niobium capsule is used as a protective medium, the process is carried out using a toroidal-type high pressure apparatus (30). The process allows obtaining ceramics with mineral content of residual Al-B phases in relatively short period of time without use of furnace facility, this will results in the improvement of technological effectiveness of the process.
