摘要 FIELD: medical industry. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention covers flexible press-formed intravaginal ring consisting of essentially homogeneous pressed mixture including polymethacrylate, plasticizing agent, gellatant and active agent. Gellant concentration in the mixture constitutes 2-20% of flexible press-formed intravaginal ring mass. Glass transition temperature of polymethacrylate is 10-50C. Production method of a flexible press-formed intravaginal ring is as follows: ^ a. Polymethacrylate at glass transition temperature, plasticizing agent, gellatant and active agent are mixed at the temperature higher than polymethacrylate glass transition temperature with further generation of a homogeneous mixture. ^ b. Pressing of the essentially homogeneous mixture at the temperature lower than mixture glass transition temperature with further production of a flexible press-formed intravaginal ring. ^ A production unit for flexible press-formed intravaginal rings comprises process compressing unit including a press mold with loading of the essentially homogeneous mix into it, upper mold, bottom mold and core rod for mixture pressing between the upper and the bottom molds for further production of a flexible press-formed intravaginal rings. After pressing the upper and the bottom molds are separated and a flexible press-formed intravaginal ring is pushed from the press mold.
