PURPOSE: A cloud storage service device, a method thereof, and a server thereof are provided to enable a cloud storage service user to assign unused storage region to other users, thereby reducing the cloud storage service cost. CONSTITUTION: A space assigning unit(312) divides the cloud storage space of a client terminal into a fixed region and a rental region. A billing unit(306) charges the service bill for the could storage service of the client terminal. A control unit(302) assigns the rental region to the other client terminal according to a fixed condition. The billing unit charges the service bill for the rental region to the other client terminal, which the billing unit refunds to the client terminal or deducts from the service charge of the client terminal. The condition includes a specific data and/or time.
