A mould for continuous casting metal comprises a water-cooled system which inlet and outlet from working channels of cylindrical shape have rectangular cross-section and are connected with the working channels of cylindrical shape at the same level on the wall thickness. Airtight insulation of rectangular channels along their perimeter is made by means of insulating gaskets located in grooves made ​​in the sealing plates. The surface of sealing plates on both sides is made in strict accordance with the shapes of the contacting surfaces of copper walls and the mould housing.
