A method for processing a video signal of a multi television is provided to store a channel number of a channel map and a color system of the channel and to switch into an image signal processing method of the color system when the color system of the channel to be changed is different from the present channel so as to reduce a time for discriminating the color system when switching a channel. A method for processing a video signal of a multi television comprises the steps of; controlling a tuner part through a microcomputer and executing an auto channel set process for each channel receiving a broadcasting signal when inputting an auto channel set key, using a key input part(S10); storing a channel number of a channel map and one of NTSC-M, PAL-M, and PAL-N(S20); and finishing the auto channel set process when finishing the channel setting through an entire channel(S30).
