摘要 <p>A manipulator system capable of automatically executing various operations regarding a microscopic object to be manipulated such as an ovum which has hitherto required skill and a method for manipulating a microscopic object to be manipulated are disclosed. A manipulator system is provided with a microscope for observing a microscopic object to be manipulated, a pair of manipulators capable of being electrically driven in three directions of the X-, Y-, and Z-axes in order to manipulate the object to be manipulated, a sample stage on which the object to be manipulated is mounted and which is capable of being electrically driven in the direction of the plane of the X- and Y-axes, a control unit for controlling the drive of the manipulator and the sample stage, and a manipulation unit for driving the manipulator and the sample stage via the control unit, wherein a manipulation tool is mounted to the manipulator, the control unit stores respective positional information relating to the manipulation tool for a plurality of regions set with respect to the object to be manipulated, and the relative movement between the regions of the manipulation tool by the sample stage and/or the manipulator is automatically performed on the basis of the stored positional information.</p>
