PURPOSE: An automatic booting device and a method thereof are provided to reboot a system when a system cannot reboot in a UPS(Uninterruptible Power Supply) operation mode, thereby increasing the reliability of the system operation. CONSTITUTION: A detecting unit(11) detects a main power supply state and a turn off state of a system. A booting unit(14) boots the system. When the main power supply restoration is detected while turning off the system, a control unit(12) boots the system after detecting the completion of the turning off process. A time output unit(13) outputs time information. When the time information reaches a predetermined time, the control unit boots the system based on a first data indicating the main power supply suspension, a second data indicating the main power supply start, and a third data related to the turning off state.
