<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape printing system or the like, capable of applying a paste only to a desired position of a printing tape by a simple operation. <P>SOLUTION: A user sets a pasting position in a printing tape 17 on a pasting setting screen 96. On the basis of the setting content, a computer 200 generates a control signal for causing an auxiliary cassette 70 to be in contact with/separated from a pasting roller 15. A paste tape 74 having a pressure sensitive adhesive layer 27 on a surface is wound around the auxiliary cassette 70. The generated control signal is transmitted to the tape printing device 110.
