A float of an oil tank for a master cylinder of a brake is provided to prevent oil filled in both sides of the float, which rests on a cylindrical rib, from locally directing downward even when the oil is leaned to one side. A float of an oil tank for a master cylinder of a brake comprises a plurality of ribs(11) formed on the bottom of the oil tank, a cylindrical rib(12) formed at the middle portion of the bottom, and a float in the installed in the cylindrical rib. The ribs formed on the bottom of the oil tank include an incised portion(11a), the middle part of which is cut. The cylindrical rib is provided at the opposite sides thereof with incised portions(12a), which are vertically cut to allow the oil to flow into both sides of the float. The float includes a cylindrical shaped portion(21) at the middle portion thereof. The middle peripheral surface of the cylindrical shaped portion is circumferentially formed with a concaved groove(21a). |
