The method involves inserting a hollow cylindrical blank (16) in a molding die (14) corresponding to the final shape of the rolling body. A pipe section forming the blank corresponding to the material requirement of the designed rolling body is inserted in the molding die. The blank is expanded by the pressure acting on its wall inner surface.
