The hybrid vehicle has an automated switchable gearbox (7) comprising shift elements (8) that is connected to combustion engine (2) through an electric machine (9). A mechanical transmission oil pump (11) is provided in the gearbox and propelled to generate hydraulic pressure for actuating the shift elements. The gearbox is operable in pressureless state with disturbed transmission control and high pressure state in which hydraulic pressure is increased based on minimum functional pressure value.
