A plug (10) for sealing a cable bolt hole comprising a resilient cylindrical body (12). At least one longitudinal bolt hole (18) is provided through the body (12) for receiving a cable bolt (19). A longitudinal vent hole (22) is provided through the body (12) for receiving a vent tube (23) and a longitudinal grout receiving hole (24) is provided through which grout can be pumped. A tool engaging member (28) is provided secured to the body (12) adjacent a first end (14) thereof and a tool aperture (29) is provided extending from a second opposite end (16) of the body (12) to a location adjacent the tool engaging member (28). A tool (46) is received through the tool aperture (29) to engage with the tool engaging member (28) for pushing the plug (10) into the hole.
