<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming a shaped three-dimensional product made from a composition containing at least one filler and an aromatic liquid crystal polymer. <P>SOLUTION: The method includes a step of forming a substrate such as a film, a sheet or a tube, through an extrusion step. Once the substrate is formed, the substrate is subsequently heated and fed to a shaping step. The shaping step may include a thermal forming step or a blow molding step. In order to form the three-dimensional product, the aromatic liquid crystal polymer has a high heat of crystallization, a high melt temperature and/or a high melt viscosity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
