<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool to wire an optical fiber or a cable over a desired span on a visible support surface of a given building. <P>SOLUTION: A tool includes a rod with a handle. A reel or a spool to retain a fiber or a cable to be wired is attached to the rod. An adhesive supply assembly for supplying an adhesive on the fiber when the fiber is unwound from the spool during use of the tool is fixed to the rod, and an applicator to wire the fiber is attached at the distal end of the rod.
