PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device and a control method for the same.

SOLUTION: A display device according to the present invention includes: a user input part having at least a touch sensor pad and at least a switch; and a control part for determining that the switch is clicked when a difference between a first positional information on a first position of the touch sensor pad generated by pressing the switch to click it and a second positional information on a second position of the touch sensor pad generated by releasing the switch is in a predetermined range. Thereby, the display device and a method for controlling the same where the click of the switch can be correctly recognized are provided.
