<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire data for efficiently distributing contents to an image display device connected to a network. <P>SOLUTION: When browsing displayed distribution contents (step S94), the face of the browser is recognized (step S96), a distance, angle, movement, etc of the browser at the time when the browser views the contents are detected (step S96-S102), and the degree to which the browser has an interest in the contents is recorded as a log (step S106).
