<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor memory device capable of executing search of the next data during search of given data. <P>SOLUTION: A first comparator 9 compares data, which is output from a memory cell to a bit line, with a first search data by activating a word line. A second comparator 10 compares data, which is output from the memory cell to the bit line, with a second search data by activating the word line.
