<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image generating device and the like suitable for making it easier for a user to visually recognize the state of a character disposed in a virtual space. <P>SOLUTION: As the following, the image generating device 200 includes: a generation unit 201 for generating an image which represents a virtual space in which a main character that changes its posture as time goes on and a sub character that takes the same posture as the main character are disposed, and which is seen from a viewpoint disposed in the virtual space; a detection unit 202 for detecting the amount of displacement caused by a change of the posture of each of a plurality of parts of the main character; an assigning unit 203 for assigning a higher amount of displacement of the detected displacements to the sub character; and a change unit 204 for changing orientation of the sub character based on the displacement assigned to the sub character and a viewpoint position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
