<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of trouble by inhibiting movement of a tongue in a mouth with a tongue holding piece formed at the lower end part of a cylindrical member inserted into the mouth to stop the tongue from hindering movement of an endotracheal tube and a suction catheter in the mouth, and by preventing the endotracheal tube from easily moving on the just outside of the vicinity of insertion into the mouth. <P>SOLUTION: An endotracheal tube protector includes a cylindrical member 2, guide grooves 3 formed on both sides of the cylindrical member 2, small linear protrusions 4 arranged in parallel on both the top and bottom surfaces of the cylindrical member 2, stopper protrusions 5 formed around the cylindrical member 2, dovetail engagement grooves 6 formed on both sides of each stopper protrusion 5, and a tongue holding piece 7 formed at the lower end part of the cylindrical member 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
