PURPOSE: An LED optimized lighting apparatus for an endoscope is provided to maximize a difference of each tissue by optimizing a lighting spectrum through an optimized LED light source combination. CONSTITUTION: A camera controller(111) controls a camera(110) in order to process a video signal recorded in the camera. A main controller(120) is connected to a user interface(121) which displays a video recorded by a user manipulation and the camera controller. The main controller calculates lighting intensity of an amber LED(135), a red LED(131), a green LED(132), a blue LED(133), and a white LED(134). A controller(130) controls the lighting intensity of the red LED, the blue LED, the green LED, the white LED, and the amber LED according to the lighting intensity calculated in the main controller.
