<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording fluid which can easily eliminate nozzle clogging even when nozzle clogging happens due to the drying or thickening of the recording fluid. <P>SOLUTION: The inkjet recording fluid comprises water, an organic solvent, a pigment, and a resin for pigment dispersion. The weight-average molecular weight of the resin for pigment dispersion is >30,000 to ≤150,000, the mass ratio of the resin for pigment dispersion to the pigment (resin content/pigment content) in the recording fluid is ≥0.1 to ≤1.0, and the acid value of the resin for pigment dispersion is ≥160 to ≤240.
