<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photovoltaic power generation device which can generate power with high efficiency even by using an inexpensive single cell structure. <P>SOLUTION: The photovoltaic power generation device comprises a plurality of solar cell modules each having solar cells arranged on a substrate. In each solar cell module, a plurality of kinds of solar cells which generate power by absorbing light in different wavelength regions are arranged side by side. When viewed from a light source, two adjoining solar cell modules are arranged to overlap partially. In the overlapping region of the solar cell modules arranged on the downstream side, a solar cell capable of generating power by absorbing light transmitted through the solar cell module arranged on the upstream side is arranged. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
