<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine an operation direction of an elevator that reaches a final car call so that efficiency of the following operation of the elevator is improved. <P>SOLUTION: A method of controlling an elevator integrates the predicted number of passengers of the elevator on the destination floor of the final car call and the other floors, calculates the number of users based on each operation direction and orients the elevator to a direction in which there are possible users as the entire building by comparing the calculated numbers, wherein the number of users are integrated according to an invertible ring-shaped service zone on the top and bottom floors. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
