<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To create a releasably locking device for a bicycle component whose mechanical strength is improved to extend the lifetime. <P>SOLUTION: A releasably locking device (1) for securing a bicycle component to a bicycle frame, and a clamping element (4) for the device are described. The device (1) comprises a traction rod (2) associated with a rotation cam (9) extending in a housing (8). The rotation of the cam (9) is driven by a lever-operated manual actuation system (11) between a clamping operating position and a release position.
