<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further reduce the thickness of a terminal box. <P>SOLUTION: A body 2 constituting a terminal box 1 comprises: a support part 2f which supports a terminal 4 coupled to an external connection cable 5 in a mounted manner; and a pair of elastic engagement pieces 11 which are cantilevered on both sides of the support part such that they extend along the support part. Engagement claws 11a protruding above the support part are provided on extended ends of the elastic engagement pieces. The engagement claws engage with both side edges of the terminal which is in a mounted state on the support part to thereby fix the terminal. Even if a length in an extending direction of the cantilevered elastic engagement pieces, which relates to the degree of elastic deformation of the elastic engagement pieces, is increased, the length direction is not in the height direction of the terminal box.
