<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle seat having a simplified periphery structure of side frames, while reducing impact caused by the rear collision and the side collision. <P>SOLUTION: A vehicle seat S includes: side sections 15; a seat back frame 1 which includes at least a frame member 16 arranged so as to lap along with a vertical direction of the side sections 15, while connecting the upper part of the side sections 15; a head rest S3 arranged above the seat back frame 1; a pressure receiving member 20 which is connected to the seat back frame 1 through connection members 21, 22 and supports occupants; and an impact reducing member 30 which is arranged at least at one side of the side sections 15 of the seat back frame 1, connected to the connection member 22 and moves by a predetermined impact load applied to the pressure receiving member 20, the pressure receiving member 20 rearward.
