<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize correction accuracy by eliminating influence of noises caused by defects of image carriers such as intermediate transfer body and direct transfer body, at correction of color shift in an image forming device with a hybrid configuration of direct transfer system and indirect transfer system. <P>SOLUTION: When correcting a color shift by synthesizing a correction pattern image of each color on a image carrier (S104, S106), and detecting noises based on data obtained by reading an image obtained by the synthesis (S108), the correction accuracy is stabilized by selecting an image carrier in which no noise is detected (S103, S109), forming a correction pattern to obtain the amount of color shift, detecting an amount of shift, and correcting color shift without receiving the influence of noises (S113). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
