<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire rope which can be simplified in structure, while improving separation strength between a wire and a terminal metal fitting. <P>SOLUTION: A wire rope includes a wire 31 and a terminal metal fitting 42 fixed to at least one end part of the wire 31. The terminal metal fitting 42 includes a caulking part 42b caulked and fixed to the wire 31. The wire 31 includes an extended-diameter part 33 between a wire end on a side where the terminal metal fitting 42 is fixed and a portion fixed to the terminal metal fitting 42 by the caulking part 42b. The outer diameter of the extended-diameter part 33 is larger than that of the wire 31 at a portion which is except for the extended- diameter part 33 and except for the portion fixed to the terminal metal fitting 42 by the caulking part 42b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
