<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a high slew rate for a source driver for liquid crystal display devices while suppressing an increase in power consumption. <P>SOLUTION: A source driver for liquid crystal display devices comprises a plurality of output amplifiers 22a and 22b that drive a plurality of data lines 92 in response to an input signal and a bias control circuit 13 having a dummy amplifier 32 compatible with the electrical characteristics of the output amplifiers 22a and 22b. The bias control circuit 13 controls high bias periods t2 and t3 of the plurality of output amplifiers 22a and 22b on the basis of an output transition period of the dummy amplifier 32 when a voltage V1 of a γ resistance circuit inputted to the output amplifiers 22a and 22b is inputted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
