<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water quality analysis technique capable of measuring a total iron content of a low concentration and simultaneously measuring a peeled scale amount and turbidity. <P>SOLUTION: A particle measurement type water quality analyzer includes: a means for continuously sampling sample water from system water of a plant such as a thermal power plant; a particle measurement means for passing the sampled sample water through a cell, applying light from a light source into the cell and measuring the number of particles in each of a plurality of particle size sections by a sensor; a flow rate measurement unit for measuring a flow rate of the sample water; a display means; and a control device. The control device calculates iron weight in each particle size section based on the number of particles and a flow rate in each particle size section, calculates a total iron content of a low concentration by multiplying the calculated iron weight by a specific coefficient, and displays the total iron content on the display means in real time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
