<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coupler device which has a high coupling degree with other coupler devices. <P>SOLUTION: According to the embodiments, a coupler device which receives electromagnetic waves by electromagnetic coupling with other coupling devices has a coupling element and a bottom board. The coupling element is configured by a conductive material and is fed to a feeding point. The bottom board faces against the coupling element and is configured by a conductive material.
