<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation assisting device which does not need an actuator to generate an assist force, and can shut off the assist function even in the condition that a user wears the device. <P>SOLUTION: The operation assisting device includes: a spine unit 2 that is formed by connecting two or more spine members 3 mutually rockable and to be worn on a user's back; and an elastic member 7 that can be switched between an operative condition in which a restorative force is generated when the user is in a bent-over position and an inoperative condition in which the restorative force is not generated, and that can be mounted on the spine unit 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
