The purpose of the present invention is to provide, using a simple configuration, the headrest of a vehicle seat with a function of a dynamic damper for damping the vibration of the vehicle seat and with a function of absorbing a shock applied to the head of the seated occupant. The stay (14) of a headrest (12) is held by a seat back. A cover (16) for covering at least a part of the stay (14) is supported by the stay (14) so as to be pivotable in the front-rear direction of the seat about the widthwise direction of the seat. When the cover (16) is caused to pivot, a coiled torsion spring (18)(elastic member) is elastically deformed and a restoring force acting in the direction against the pivoting direction of the cover (16) is generated. The displacement of the cover (16) in directions other than the pivoting direction is suppressed by a suppression section (22) provided between the stay (14) and the cover (16).
