<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing device capable of improving user convenience by allowing printing without destroying security additional information. <P>SOLUTION: A job control determination unit instructs an image processing unit to disable embedding of security additional information (S50) if a flag LVBC_FLAG is TRUE in S47. The job control determination unit determines a setting for a duplicate embedding prevention button by an administrator (S51), and instructs a printing unit to print a copy document if the setting is "through" (S52). The printing instruction is an instruction for performing printout without embedding the security additional information according to the setting by the administrator if the embedding of the security additional information is duplicated.
