<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method to reduce fuser noise in a printer. <P>SOLUTION: Fuser noise in a printer is reduced by: generating a first image on a first medium sheet 111 that moves through a medium path; generating a second image on a second medium sheet 112 that moves through the medium path subsequently to the first medium sheet at a first distance; and reducing the first distance between the first medium sheet and the second medium sheet to a second distance between the first medium sheet and the second medium sheet after generating the first image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
